Senior Controller

Our client, a leading retailer in high-end golf and walking shoes, is on the lookout for a Senior Controller. This is a chance to have a allround finance role and  in a company that's as passionate about its products!

As a Senior Controller, you will be responsible for both the holding entity and the subsidiaries in the Netherlands and the US, while also extending your support to our UK and South African teams. This role is vital in leading the financial department through a period of significant growth and technological advancement.

In this role you will be the manager of one finance employee that assists with the AP/AR/GL Proces

• Oversee financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency of the finance function;
• Engage in global treasury & cash management, annual budgeting, and financial forecasting;
• Spearhead the improvement of financial processes and systems, with a keen focus on automation and efficiency;
• Guide the company's focus from financial control to business control, integrating Power BI, AI, and other cutting-edge technologies into our financial operations.

• A salary of around €80,000 to €85,000 per annum;

• A bachelor's or master's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field;
• At least 8-10 years of relevant experience, preferably within an international setting;
• Strong knowledge of Business Central and Excel;
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities;
• Ability to work independently and proactively, as well as part of a team;
• Fluent in English.
